In this basic or refresher course, you will learn all about first aid.
Prevention and safety are also covered extensively.
The basic First Aid course includes 16 hours of training, the refresher course 4 hours.
Participants in this course obtain a certificate of certification recognized by the federal government.
The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part.
Using oral and visual presentation techniques, the instructor will discuss and explain in detail the different modules.
We pay extra attention to the hygiene measures and regulations surrounding Covid-19.
By consciously dealing with current guidelines, we can still provide quality care.
The course discusses among others the tasks of the company emergency worker and how an emergency situation should be evaluated correctly.
Of course, we teach you how to perform basic CPR according to the latest European guidelines.
We also cover choking, safety posture, stopping severe bleeding, wound care and fire and chemical injuries.
We continue with poisoning, limb injuries (contusion, sprain, dislocation, fractures), spinal injuries, disorders of consciousness (faintness, concussion, epilepsy…) and respiratory disorders (asthma, allergy, hyperventilation, shortness of breath).
Finally, circulatory disorders (myocardial infarction, shock, stroke), specific injuries and syndromes within the company are also discussed and we visit and evaluate the company’s own pharmacy.
