What?

When you, as a bus driver, transport a group of passengers with disabilities, you often encounter additional difficulties for which you are not always prepared.
Often these people are in wheelchairs or have specific problems that you need to have the necessary knowledge to deal with professionally.
Physically it is not always so easy.
In this training we go deeper into ergonomic handling and learn easy exercises that you can do to not put too much strain on your back and body.

Content

How does a wheelchair work?
What are the parts?
How do I store it in the cargo area of the bus?
How do I support a traveler in getting up from the wheelchair and onto the bus?
How do you communicate with that traveler and understand the circumstances that put this person in the wheelchair?
The focus during this training is on the practical exercises rather than the theoretical part.
