The Flemish Association of Nurses in Occupational Health Care is the association of and for all nurses working within the various disciplines of prevention and protection at work.
It grew out of the Working Group of Company Nurses (1979) and was founded on September 26, 1989. Learn more about our first webinar of 2021; Speaker: Dr. Van Den Broucke, internist/infectiologist, working as an emergency physician at the Jessa Hospital in Hasselt and tropical physician at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp.
At this online training, our speaker Dr. Van Den Broecke will provide more interpretation on the underlying pathophysiology of the different types of shock.
After this explanation, he will explain how a professional can quickly assess the type of shock involved.
He will then highlight the link between the underlying mechanism and the subsequent initial treatment.
