Day course focusing on learning specific skills needed to start the first phase of resuscitation.
During training, participants receive in-depth training in diagnostics, airway management, recognition of cardiac rhythms, defibrillation with manual and automatic defibrillator and prevention of cardiac arrest.
Participants who pass the training receive an ILS certificate.
– Causes and prevention of cardiac arrest – CPR and defibrillation – Airway management and obtaining intraosseous access.
– Acting on critical victims.
– Monitoring, recognizing heart rhythms and use of 12 lead ECG.
– Interpreting arterial blood gases.
– Basic medication.
– Capnography.
– Workshops, skills station, CAS training (Cardiac arrest simulation).
Primary care providers and healthcare professionals who frequently encounter patients in critical condition and/or CPR or are part of a CPR team.
